Bona Fides

Statement of Intent.

It is so glaringly obvious, to the man on the Clapham Omnibus, that party politics is an aberration unique to governance (or pretence of governance) and that its continuance must indicate some deep incapacity in those who inhabit Westminster, feigning government. Any individual of integrity would dismantle it.

That this offensively expensive charade is reborn, election after election, is testament to the Machiavellian stitch-up that has been foisted upon the sleepwalking masses, some of who still turn out to vote, as if a choice were being enacted – a democratic choice!

There is a slight stirring apparent: people no longer just parrot that politicians are all imbued with the same distasteful values; they now cognize the truth of it! A window of opportunity is letting light into the fetid Commons chamber – dark heart of Westminster. If awareness can overcome hypnotised stupidity, much may be achieved.

I intend to stand (in Newbury) at the next General Election, as a focal point for thought and action aimed at an awakening; an end to party politics, and the dismantling of Westminster: ethos, corruption, and edifice. As in 2005, my credo will be: SPOIL PARTY GAMES.
